Google: Search Console, organic web search by searcher country, May 2026 vs 24 Aug - 23 Sep 2026. AI: BrandViz.AI, a fixed UK and Ireland buyer question set across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, 1 Jul vs 23 Sep 2026.

The call: go AI-first
LOIS Leasing is a lease accounting platform backed by CA-qualified accountants. It had already grown its early-stage AI visibility 10× in Australia and New Zealand. The UK and Ireland came next, with a deadline built in: the FRS 102 periodic review brings most leases onto the balance sheet for accounting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2026.
There’s tens of thousands of companies that are impacted. So getting up the search is so important.
Stefan Iggo, CEO & Co-Founder, LOIS LeasingMany of those finance teams will ask an AI assistant or search Google before they have heard of a single vendor. Building a brand in a new market from scratch takes years, so LOIS made AI search a core part of its entry plan and brought in BrandViz.AI to run it. Stefan had found BrandViz.AI the same way, by asking Microsoft Copilot for a recommendation.
Ready before the rush
At an accountants’ seminar in London, Stefan saw how early the UK market still was: most companies hadn’t started preparing for FRS 102. He had watched the same thing happen with IFRS 16, and knew what came next.
It will happen. We saw with IFRS 16 that people will start to panic. So I think doing all this content now is good.
Stefan Iggo, CEO & Co-Founder, LOIS LeasingThat changed the plan. In Australia and New Zealand the work had been built around early-stage questions, the ones a finance team asks when it first wants to know what a standard means. In the UK and Ireland hardly anyone was asking those yet. So the work started where UK buyers already were (comparing vendors, looking for alternatives) and built the FRS 102 reference material at the same time, so it would already be ranked and cited when the rest of the market started looking.
Most vendors wait until a market is searching to start competing for it. LOIS started before its market was.
Where LOIS started
AI models knew who LOIS was. Asked “What does LOIS Leasing do?”, every model answered correctly, every time. But they rarely suggested it to anyone who hadn’t already heard of it: LOIS appeared in 3% of AI answers about UK and Irish lease accounting and ranked 16th in its category. Asked for the best lease accounting platforms for UK businesses preparing for FRS 102, ChatGPT compared seven vendors in a table and left LOIS out, although specialist FRS 102 support for the UK and Ireland is what LOIS offers.
Google showed the same gap. The UK was LOIS’s third market, and the UK and Ireland together brought in under half the search traffic of Australia and New Zealand. On both surfaces the cause was the site itself. It said IFRS 16 everywhere and FRS 102 almost nowhere, so AI models and Google alike read LOIS as an IFRS 16 vendor from the other side of the world.
What BrandViz.AI did
Made the site say FRS 102
The first changes were small. FRS 102 Section 20 went onto the homepage, into the metadata and onto key landing pages alongside IFRS 16, and the homepage gained an FAQ. Google had been listing the company as “Lois Lease”; a week after the name was corrected in the site’s structured data, it showed LOIS Leasing.
Built one page to be the FRS 102 answer
A single FRS 102 lease accounting guide answers the core question in full, with a UK and Ireland landing page and an IFRS 16 and FRS 102 health check beside it. Within weeks it was the page on LOIS’s site that AI answers cited most, ahead of the homepage.
Wrote for the situations UK finance teams will face
More than 20 FRS 102 pieces sit around the guide. Each is written for a situation a finance team will actually be in, such as choosing software, setting discount rates, moving across from IFRS 16, closing the first period after transition, or running a sector with a heavy lease book like retail, hospitality, construction or fleet. LOIS’s team reviewed every piece before it went live.
Corrected what AI was getting wrong
A weekly scan showed what AI models were telling UK buyers about LOIS, including two product gaps that didn’t exist. Both came from the site never mentioning features LOIS has. A dedicated integrations page went live, and ChatGPT was citing it in UK answers the same week.
What happened
AI moved first: more than doubled in five days
July was quiet while models re-read the site. Then, between 6 and 10 August, Gemini picked up the new FRS 102 pages and LOIS went from under 10% of its answers to over 40%.

By late September, across all four assistants, AI mentioned LOIS 12 times as often as in July, recommended it 33 times as often and cited its site 9 times as often.
Google followed: the UK became LOIS’s #1 market
UK Google clicks grew 2.8×, taking the UK from LOIS’s third market to its first, and Ireland’s impressions grew 8.5×. The UK and Ireland together now bring in as much Google traffic as Australia and New Zealand, up from under half in May, even though Australia and New Zealand grew over the same period too. The growth came from non-branded searches, from finance teams finding LOIS through FRS 102 and lease accounting queries.
Obviously it took a while to get the UK trending, but now it is.
Stefan Iggo, CEO & Co-Founder, LOIS LeasingLOIS made the shortlist: from 16th to 2nd
In AI answers, LOIS moved from 16th in its category to 2nd. When UK buyers ask AI to compare vendors, LOIS is now named in more than half of those answers. In Ireland, where fewer vendors speak to the market directly, it is named in 7 out of 10. On Perplexity it is now mentioned more often than any other vendor in the category.
Always look forward to seeing my rankings go up in the AEO world.
Stefan Iggo, CEO & Co-Founder, LOIS Leasing
In July, asked for the best lease accounting platforms for UK businesses preparing for FRS 102, ChatGPT compared seven vendors and left LOIS out. On 24 September, asked what good lease accounting software for FRS 102 in the UK looks like, it put LOIS on the shortlist for mid-market and complex portfolios, called out its qualified accounting support, and cited loisleasing.com as the source.

Ahead of Google, ahead of demand
The two surfaces are moving at different speeds. The FRS 102 guide is already the page AI assistants cite most, while it is still climbing Google’s rankings, so UK finance teams asking AI get answers built on LOIS’s content before the same page reaches the top of Google. And the FRS 102 reference material is already live for when the rest of the market starts looking.
The land grab is now for FRS 102.
